Sunday Brunch Hikes

Hiking trails through fynbos & vineyard

Following the success of last summer's Full Moon Hikes, we're continuing to build outdoor lifestyle experiences at Plaisir. Sunday Brunch Hikes are relaxed, curated mornings on the estate: arrive for a short welcome and briefing, then hike at your own pace along the marked Meulstroom trail to the viewpoint, where a picnic-style atmosphere awaits with scenery, fresh air, coffee and refreshments before you make your way back to the parking area.

Visit the Estate

Wine tasting on the slopes of Simonsberg

Step into our tasting room beneath the old oaks and settle in for an unhurried afternoon of discovery. Every wine on the farm is poured here — from the quiet confidence of our Estate range to the layered complexity of our flagship library releases.

Our guided tastings are intimate and generous. We love pairing our wines with beautiful local things — think handcrafted dark chocolate that brings out the cedar notes in our reds, and soft nougat that mirrors the honeyed warmth of our Chenin Blanc.

For something more substantial, our delicious cheese and charcuterie boards are the perfect companion to your tasting — carefully curated local cheeses, cured meats and artisanal accompaniments that pair beautifully with every pour.

  • Guided tastings daily, 10am – 5pm
  • Artisanal Confectionary Pairings
  • Experience the tempest gin

Coming soon

A new restaurant is on its way

Something special is taking shape beneath the oaks. A new restaurant is coming to Plaisir — a farm-to-table experience rooted in the rhythms of the valley, with seasonal menus drawn from the garden, the farm, and the surrounding Banhoek.

Long lunches, estate wines, and views that stretch across the vineyards to the Simonsberg ridgeline. We're not quite ready to open our doors — but we can't wait to welcome you to the table.
